From what I have read on the Humboldt State University/Department of Chemistry website, this appears to be a Model 242M 1960 version of the Seederer-Kohlbusch analytical balance with the exception that it does not have the 'jewelers bronze and lacquer'. It's been sitting about for many a year gathering dust here. It appears to have all of its functioning parts. Not sure if the "I.P.I. 3-1339" is a serial number or a way the owner identified it.
