This dazzling 2" brooch by Sherman has a beautiful pinwheel design made up of dark topaz & champagne marquise stones with an inner circle of AB chatons & leaf design on goldtone, ca 1960s. Hope you will enjoy this one Phil, love Sherman jewelry but oh the high prices

This is a beautiful pinwheel, so easy here for me to catch and attribute the design to Sherman. Yes, the prices now can be astronomical, I hope you found a deal. I love the inner double ended tail on the inside, very beautiful and such dazzle you and the brooch have, 5 *****'s !!~

I'm thrilled you like this Phil, you are such a pro about Sherman, and really appreciate the super compliments. You have mentioned about high prices for Sherman, that is sure true, but his pieces are so unique they're worth it. I got this a bit over my "husband will kill me" (lol) price range but he admits it's gorgeous

There are several version of the wreath pin, and this one is my favourite design of all of all of them, I think of a dragon or double headed rattler for some reason !

I have seen this design in other colors as well Phil, I liked this one because of its pretty colors - funny what our imagination sees, you thought of a coiled rattlesnake, and I thought of that buzz saw slicing James Bond lol

Yes this is probably one of my very favourites of their wreath design with a twist, especially the pinwheel design of the outer stones.

Yes Alan I have seen and loved your beautiful Sherman brooch, I agree they are all super-gorgeous, shiny rhinestone brooches are my favorite type and when I started looking at Sherman's (my interest was spurred by seeing Phil's beauties - thank you Phil) it was immediate love. What an utterly lovely brooch! I adore Sherman's pinwheel design, and I think this variant (with its more complex inner spiral) is the prettiest of the lot. The colours are subtle and so gorgeous. Glad you found it and that you shared it with us!

It came in many other colors incl blue, but I really love the brown tones here. Hope to be getting more Sherman after the holidays (this month is the worst for US postal deliveries:(!!
