It's been a while since I've posted any costume jewelry but this is a real gem. A box lot of costume that my sister scored yielded this massive "Judy Lee" Swarovski "Rivoli" rhinestone bracelet. Each link is easily the size of a fifty cent piece and the whole bracelet weighs in at 100 grams (3.5 oz.). So it's almost a 1/4 pounder ! Not for the faint of heart or a delicate wrist. The bracelet alone was compensation enough to cover the cost of the whole lot. There are matching earrings but sadly they were not in the box. I have to admit I was stunned when I saw some of the online listings and the prices they were asking with or without the earrings. I do have a "Judy Lee" earring, pendant, cocktail ring set so this is a welcome addition to my collection. -Mike-

this is a stunning bracelet and I like the way it is constructed. Makes me think of summer and cool watermelon!

Sorry to say I hate that you call this watermelon glass as so many people do on the internet ! It is actually called Rivoli glass and you can look up the stones on the internet. I love these - probably early 1960's because of the early type of larger Rivoli stones by Swarovski usedmake for a beautiful bracelet. I have such stones Sherman used on their 1960's-70's cufflinks. They came into effect/invented some time in the late 1950's. Rivoli stones are often confused with "inverted stones" sometimes as often they are used in inverted settings. Its a whole new stone (Rivoli), but often people often mistake them for regular rhinestones. Super beautiful bracelet, Mike !~
Thanks so much Phil...yes the internet has struck again. I was impressed by the fancy name and I knew that you would know the exact term once you saw my post. Thanks for the info. Nice to know these stones were made by Swarovski. They are really something to behold. This bracelet more than made up for all the horrible cameos and other mundane bits my sister purchased as a boxed lot. Now if I could only find the earrings. :)
