So, while I was working in my shop, Henrietta decided to hop down from her perch on the rocking chair and amuse herself. She started reading Michele Durkson Clise's No Bad Bears (as I'd told her she'd better watch the eye roll she seems to have perfected, especially after I came home with a perfectly pretty vintage silk and lace bed jacket for her. She tore the big yellow bow off of her neck and then removed the bed jacket and sauntered off.)
The book's funny photos amused her and she decided to try a head stand after which she became distracted by the fish tank so she had to take a peek.
No matter what kind of day I am having, Henrietta always makes me smile. I hope she makes you smile, too.

: ) ...... ear to ear .....
Henrietta comes to life courtesy of her imaginative owner, love this Laura!
Thank you so much for the love and really kind comments, buckethead, Jenni, and Ken. I'm so glad Henrietta made you all smile. I might read her your comments, but then they might go to her head. ;)

Thank you for the love, Adele and Manikin!
Thanks Laura! Henrietta reminds me of Brown Bear, the Bear I had as a child. My younger sister and I would play Bunnies and Bears lots of days, and make up stories, for all are stuffed toys to be in. Every one would have their own voice, that we both could speak, and we would always have a new adventure, for them to go on! :^)
Thanks so much for the love, TimeTraveller and Bill! Bill, I love hearing about Brown Bear! Do you still have him?
You know Laura, after my mother died, I think I gave him to my nieces, and nephews, with the rest of the stuffed toys and toys, in our huge toy box, that was still at my mothers home. So as far as I know he's still in good hands! I do still have Bluey-Tooey, the little blue rubber bear that you might have seen in the "Lions Tigers and...Qh No Just Bears" post, he was the son of Brown Bear and Blue Bear, who was the sister of Pink Bear, my older sister's stuffed Bear. Bluey-Tooey was actually older then all of our stuffed animals, but played the part of Baby Bear so well, because he was so small! :^)
Yes! I saw Blooey-Tooey! I love his lineage!
Bluey-Tooey, was my oldest sister's(I had 4) first Birthday Bear, so he's 69years old in July! He had his own voice, a squeaker, but was lost in one of the many, many, many bathes that he got with one of the five of us, over the years, he even had quite a few, with my own two sons! It's amazing that he has any paint left on him! :^)
Oops! How did I misspell his name! Sorry, Bluey! I love him just by virtue of his well-lived life and his adorable-ness!
Thank you for the love, iggy.
Thank you for the love, Sean!
