cheap (probably) green ceramic froggy soapdish

At least I think he's meant to be a soapdish, and I can't imagine he's any particular "art pottery" piece of any note either -- but hey, ain't he still sorta FUN?? Or, maybe its just me. ;-)

The fact remains that there was (another) one of these just like it (best as I can recall, anyway) serving as a soap holder during the majority of my childhood (1970's) sitting beside Mom & Dad's bathtub someplace. I have no idea when/where they got it, nor when/where it ultimately disappeared to. [from a garage sale, and one of us kids finally knocked it into the bathtub and busted it?? just guessing on both counts... <lol>]

This one is *not* that one, though. I found him in much more recent years, while helping clean out a rent house locally. As soon as I spied him, he got 'saved' from the trash pile, and he now spends his time -- like his presumably long gone 'brother' -- sitting on the ledge beside my bathtub to keep me company while I shower. :-) He's about 4-1/2" in all dimensions, with absolutely no marks/clues to give further age or origin.
