Here are two vintage small 4" conchiglia (shell form) bowls from Italy's Murano Seguso. One is blue green, the other a lavender bullicante (air bubbles) diamond pattern with label on bottom

These are shell bowls are SO cool!!!!
Just beautiful! Do you put anything in them or display them as is?
Thanx Scott, I think they're kinda great myself
Aren't their shell shapes different Thomas, Murano always puts their own spin on glass, sometimes weird but I like these
Excellent idea Laura, because they're on the small side I never filled them, but I think you've inspired me - how about filled with dip or salsa, then placed in the middle of a chip & dip bowl, with a piece of rolled duck tape underneath to secure them & serve w/ chips for company? Won't I be the show off lol
The luv is greatly appreciated everyone

Great & kind compliment Ken, I seem to always have a theme going when I put things up, and this wk weather's been so lousy I can't help dreaming of vacation to anywhere tropical
Thanks so much Vet for the luv

Many thanks Recordmantime for the love, it's very kind of you and glad you liked these shells
the light purple one is a generic i think, the bullicantes are slightly of
Thank you Malkey for the very thoughtful love, it is truly appreciated & I'm always most grateful
Thanks apostata for your kind comment on these Murano shells I really appreciate your thoughtfulness
turquoise is probably seguso, the purple one is inconclusive
Many thanks Casselt for the thoughtful love, so pleased that you enjoyed these Murano bowls
Thanks apostata for your nice comment, I agree the turquoise bowl looks more Seguso than the other, the purple has the label so I assume it's by another Murano maker
Thank you so very much vcal for the love for my glass shells today, it is most kind of you and gratefully appreciated
