Can anyone make this photo better> They wrote upper left "Amer. Negroe". There is no head that I can see. And it is from their 1906 New Mexico photos, I'll bet it was an Apache. The family, who lived poorly in shacks, lived on the outskirts of any town.(subject to attacks)
last photo of a part of the family photos, from Okla. to settle and poorly so in New Mexico and why the the dead man from the same family batch!! Did he go back to OKLA. a murderer.I guess love a little drama with my photos.
HELP PLEASE!
DECAPITATED!!
Kind of looks like the victim of a flash flood.
Or is being unburied.
No head? I have poor vision, can you see a head?
Does anyone else see that the material in the arms looks empty i.e. no limbs? I think(???) this could be a scarecrow, albeit a headless one. Very creepy - also I think I see legs and feet, but the top looks completely different, if you know what I mean? Neat pictures PCC!
To me it appears that the water has receded and he was found. I think the head is still buried in sediment.
Open fly in pants,,gone as well. Atrocity? Did Apaches do this. We are in New Mexico c.1906-07. Thanks Collectomaniac and Gillian.
His clothing is pretty fresh. I feel this is murder in the Old Wild West!,
