1866 + Tooled Leather Dome Top Trunk

Tooled Leather Dome Top Trunk,....No Maker name. The lock face is patent dated 1864. Not a lot of trim on this piece but I like the style, condition, the metal work corner shape accents and the age. Complete interior tray example for the most part, but I believe it's missing the small 1/4 size raised curved box and just the lid remains for that small section of the tray. My first encounter with this nifty tip out lid tray. The small pivot pins for this lid compartment are patent dated 1866.
