    I just **LOVE** me some church sponsored 'rummage sales' -- here's one (well, two) of my prizes from one such sale just this afternoon. Both scored for the mighty sum of three whole dollars :-) :-) :-) the shorter one still has a gold paper label identifying it as made by "B.Z.T. Ltd. HAND PAINTED ISRAEL". (both of them also have glue remains of another sticker on them too, but I'm guessing that might have been from a previous garage sale or something?) A little internet searching just now suggests they are a product of the 1970's-80's, and that B.Z.T. is no longer in operation. They are about 10" and 11" tall respectively, both about 3-1/2" at their tops and 4" at their plain, flat, unmarked bottoms. They are made of kinda thin glass with a 'matte/frosted' exterior finish inside and out, which gives them a sorta bluish-gray overall look aside from the colorful decoration.

    I have not even cleaned them (gentle hand-wash only, I suppose) yet, but am betting anyway that they're gonna ultimately add a nice 'splash of color' to a shelf someplace, along with the rest of my (nearly all clear glass) martini pitchers and decanters. :-) :-) :-) At the moment I think I'm slightly more fond of the taller one with simpler red design and lower handle, but the more intricate pattern on the other is quite beautiful too, actually having the slightest tiny tinges of blue and green mixed in with its mostly yellow and red pattern.

      for having a look and tapping that <love it> button!! :-) :-) :-)

      As I've often said before, I truly don't know much of anything about 'art glass' (beyond what I've picked up by hanging around in here) and thus didn't really have any idea that the Israelis made it too...? (but for 3 bucks, so what, they're pretty pitchers and even if that one label wasn't still there, I'd like 'em anyway...??)

      Church Flea Market or Rummage sales always find nice glass or pottery pieces , your finds are called Ruevens Glass I believe , I have some pieces from my Mother in law and some I've bought thrifting . Invite some company over and make up some cocktails or cool beverages so you & others can enjoy them (- ;
