I bought these from a local woman who had reupholstered and painted these. They are firm seated and sturdy. They are comfortable seaing when you need an extra place for guests and we use them for our chess players. Teemporarily stored while we are between homes. Attracted to that black and gold classy style.
Not to be confused with hollywood regency - this is an actual regency style design chair, While not from the period they are regency style chairs. Very nice.
