Found this in a boatyard after Irma hit SXM & have no idea why I bothered to pick it up & wasted time cleaning it partially. Marked "Peiromax" & made in Germany. Maybe I'll give it to a bar with a nautical theme. Maybe a sugar bird feeder? Lots of stuff just lying around right now. Was hoping it was a kerosene Tilley lamp & worth restoring, but alas, not to be. Now staff, where is the "Nautical cat.? Been waiting months to get net restored. Irma blew everything away but the mountains & the grass. Maybe it was an "anchor light"?

I wouldn't clean it too much to preserve its character. Cool piece, whatever it is!

Anna, I cleaned it up just enough where I may throw it away. Phil, those are Jacky's eyes superimposed. The donkey's in these islands keep me baffled. They keep saying,"Hon-key, hon-key & I keep looking to see who is calling me. Let us know what day winter falls on up there. I may visit that day.

Looks like something I would decorate my back deck with. But I live on the coast and it ain't junk to me.

Love it!!! Takes a lot more then a little wind to blow out my candle and my wick might be a little low but I have a long way to "Glow"

I didn't expect this much interest in this junk. I gave it to a café owner friend last week. He seems to like junk & now I know where to dump it.
