Hello, I am so excited to find this forum. This is a picture of a cherry necklace that belonged to my mother-in-law; she died 4 years ago. I saw one at an antigue show and remembered seeing something like it in her jewelry box. I just loved it, I wore it for only the second time to an antique show in Portland yesterday and couldn't believe I found the bracelet that matches!!
I have noticed now on the internet there are earrings and pins; wow, I want it all. :)
I notice there seem to be variations of chains, cherries and leaves. Can someone tell me possily what era this was and maybe even what company made these.
Thank you, Stephanie
Gorgeous! Probably made in the 30s or 40s, hard to tell from the picture. Unsure about the maker also.
Classic Bakelite jewelry from the forties. I had a red ladies hat that had a similar cluster of cherries that hung off the side.
