Some may remember the small pedestal vases I posted a few weeks ago......it was the first time I'd seen that décor. Now I've found a third piece in four weeks. This vase is much bigger with unusually discreet handles.......for Welz that is. The group shot shows it with other décors which share the same shade of green inner.

Isn't it amazing how that happens! A drought then a flood.
I agree with Ivonne; such an elegant vase!

Feast or famine, I can't explain it either, but at least the famines allow your finances to recover :)

I was watching this Peggy. Although I'm not a collector of Welz I was tempted, it's just such an elegant and understated piece. Definitely has a 'good' side too. A great addition to your collection.

amazing decor, it is somewhere between older spatter decors of trophy vases and more modern tango with single color confetti

Sorry this is late, Jericho......no alerts anymore!
I always appreciate your comments on these pieces that are difficult to place in a period. It's something that really interests me. In fashion be it glass, clothing or whatever nothing changes overnight. But without documentation you can know it's Welz but still can't place it in time. The demise of rigaree is one indicator and I do have a trophy vase shape without the handles. Watch out for my next 'between two periods piece'!!!

Love the green interiors. I particularly like the tall vase in the 3rd picture. Don't CW have email alerts anymore do you know? I thought it was just mine not working. I hope they bring it back, how else can you know if someone's commented on an item without going through everyone, and when you have 100's that could take some time.
