    Hello to all,
I’m hoping to have my confusion cleared up a bit before I fill this with dirt and petunias.
This appears so old but yet the stickers on bottom appear so new. And around the inside lip it sounds like plastic in some areas when I tap around.
    10 1/8” tall x 7 1/4” across top.
Thanks so much for any help!
Hope everyone is having a nice hump day and finding great old stuff to save and collect!

Should consult the cards, as a fortune teller from Jamaica would say... dem dare de cards, dem dey no lie.
Confucius say… single fact can ruin a good argument.

Lol Phil, I sure can’t argue with facts. But it’s very unlike any other vases I’ve seen.
      Thank you!

The stickers are a dead give-away for its recent make, but another give-away is the fact that it's blown/pressed into a mould by a machine. The cavern inside where the handles were blown tells us that. If it were old, you might have an indentation from a finger, but it would be hardly noticeable from when the potter was attaching the handles. One-piecers like this aren't old. The handles should have been applied separately.

Hi Karenoke!! Great to see you back. I wish I could help on your piece, but I'm no expert. Though the Made in China sticker makes me think it may be newer than you think. But, I'll leave that to the experts to determine.

They used to make "uplighters" in this form. They were put on high cupboards and had a light in them. However apart from that it has a beautiful classical form.

      Thanks everyone!
So it’s as new and cheap as the stickers say it is....lol
Cool, my petunias will do it justice and are worth more than the plastic vase.
Too funny because I convinced the manager of the SA it was junk with those stickers and the plastic sound. They had a 6.99 sticker on that baby. She removed the six for me. But then I started wondering if the person who priced it knew something I didn’t? Nope
      Thanks for setting this straight....lol
      Still pretty though.
