Hello everyone!!
Here's my little cast iron mouse doorstop. He appears to be holding a strawberry or raspberry. Though I've searched and searched, I still do not know who the maker of this one was. It's an original though and is numbered "9" on the backside. It has a bit of original paint loss and the paint on the backside has developed a patina over the years. I'm not sure when this was made, but, judging by the style, I'd say it's from the 1950's to 1960's. It measures about 3 1/2" tall.
This one has been heavily reproduced by Upper Deck. The reproduction has a much different style wedge, has a thicker, rougher casting and the reproduction is not numbered.
Thanks to all for stopping by!!

Very handsome & well designed. Normally I "hate meeces to pieces" in real life, but not beautifully designed & colored pieces like this one
So many people I see coming into antique shops looking for these, and no wonder they can't find any, since you have them all. Awesome !~
Thank you Jenni for your kind comment!! Mice don't bother me, but spiders definitely do!!!
Thanks Phil!! I wouldn't say that I have them all, just many of them:)

He's adorable. Reminds me of Templeton the rat in Charlotte's Web where he sings "A Fair Is a Veritable Smorgasbord." The video always makes me laugh.
LOL Laura!! I love that movie and Paul Lynde was hilarious in everything he ever did. He voiced Templeton extremely well. Thank you so very much for the wonderful comment, the love and for stopping by as well.
Thank you aura for the love and for stopping by!!
I'd forgotten Paul Lynde did the voice. Remember him from Hollywood Squares? I'd watch that as a child.
I could never forget his Hollywood Squares years, Uncle Arthur from Bewitched and many other shows. He was hilarious and a real treasure!!
Thanks buckethead for the love and for stopping in!!

That's great!! I'd love to see it. This one has no felt on the bottom. I'd say yours was added by it's original owner.
