Just got this piece today. Needed a little retail therapy-Haha!! I saw this in the case when I first got in the store. When I was getting ready to leave, I asked to see it, thinking it was a brooch. It is not, but is some sort of clip, (scarf, belt ??). I loved the green color glass. Anyone know time period for this clip or actual use?
thats very sophisticated,,,, period no idea but can imagine a flapper girl having such a piece . the emerald isle of me forefathers comes resounding & the extra touch of facet cutting & gold quite beautiful
thank you very much indeed mrstyndall !!!!!!!!

Phil, appreciate it :)
Tassie, wow, that is very similar! The color and facets on glass are almost identical! Good work :). I wonder if mine is that old-would be cool if it was! Thanks again
Betweenthelens, thanks so much!
Ms.Crystal, this was found at one of my favorite thrift stores. It is a huge store that raises money for Alzheimers. Over the years, I have found some awesome things there. I like to go about once a week :)
Mrs Tyndall, thank you:-)
I am not sure if it would be that old either but great if it is! I also would have called it a "sash" buckle /slide or whatever the correct term is lol.
The green glass is wow!! I forgot to mention how much I love this piece:-)
Thanks so much, Ken!
Valentino, thank you-would certainly look lovely on a belt sash!
