One of my favorite Pocket Watch Case Trade Cards.
This is another Boss Patent Watch Case card that advertises the "Hunting Case."
The Hunting or Hunter Case, is a pocket watch case with a cover over the face (dial) that has to be opened to see the dial and is a protection from breaking the glass crystal covering the dial.
The advertiser on this Trade Card is E. A. Will, Jeweler of Brunswick, Maine.
On a research of E. A. Will, the only thing I have been able to locate, was an advertisement in searching old newspapers online.
The Bath Independent Newspaper in Bath Maine, on May 11, 1895, page 7, had an advertisement by E. A. Will, Brunswick, ME, titled:
A Square Talk on Square Things.
In a Tic-Tac-Toe style square, in the top center square, he advertised:
My Stock of Watches contains nearly every style & make
Thanks for taking the "time" to check out my post,
