Magnificent Sherman Parure, Bracelet And Set, Rarest Of Rare Opague Blue Stones & Other Blue Stones !~
Received late March 2018, last days. I believe the tiniest of stones may be Alexandrite, but I am not sure on that.
I first seen this bracelet and brooch in the early days of March as the seller had an outrageous price on it. It did not sell. The seller then added the earrings and added more money to the start price. A very greedy seller and I looked just before it ended and someone had actually left a bid, so I bid just before closing and won the lot. I had to have it before she asked even more.
When I first saw the bracelet when it arrived I was quite excited as the bracelet had never been seen by the authors of the book and it was a very rare configuration and use of opague blue stones. The third photo shows the two bracelets together, same design and style, but they look completely different, in colour and style, when using different colour stones and size of stones. The fourth photo shows a matching necklace. The book has various pieces but this set is quite special. The brooch is a beautiful design especially with these stones, absolutely breathtaking. I see some other pieces in the book I would like to get.
As of January 2021 this set still in my collection. This set really lights my collection on fire, my favourite bracelet until the next treasure comes home to me !~ ......H

Yes Eileen, the necklaces tend to be more simple for Sherman. There are exceptions to that rule of course. The use of these stones however is very rare.
