Hi everyone!!
Of all my Japanese made hares, this would have to be one of the most impressively detailed. It's made of cast iron and painted to have a bronze appearance. This was pretty common during the early to mid 1900's in Japan. This one has some paint loss, but I'm willing to accept that since it's so highly detailed. If you zoom in on the photos, you'll see the fine detailing. Even the little pads on the bottom of it's paws are very defined, as well as it's little whiskers. It's fairly small and measures 5" tall and 4" from front to back.
Thank you all for stopping by for a look!!!

He's in the bunny hunch - now if only his nose could twitch! Another superb hare Scott

Thank you Jenni!! Now, If I saw him twitch his nose I might think I've had one too many to drink:)
