Another view of this bracelet with the wonderful Alexandrite stones which I forgot that I had until the other day. I believe I got this in earlier 2015 when I met Renee from Victoria. She is able to fix a lot of my pieces if they are ever dirty or have a stone missing or a safety bracelet broken. She is cleaning 3 bracelets now. I would never ever clean a piece of Sherman or any other piece. If they do need cleaning, they have to be dried very carefully. There is a person on ebay named reefer who uses glass cleaner to clean them, soaking them. He is such an idiot thinking that Sherman did not have foil backed stones and thinking they were without foil. I would never buy a piece from him as the foil would rot with his using glass cleaner on Sherman foiled stones. I think he has been smoking too much !!~ I try to buy pieces which are clean in the first place, and I see some worn sherman pieces too. Best never to clean unless you are a professional. ....H
Two Sherman beauties, I love this color combo of the alexandrite, clear & deep pink, and of course the original style. Great to have a trusted jewelry cleaner, I agree best leave that to a pro, it is definitely not wise to use harsh chemicals on vintage pieces
That's a BEAUTY Phil!! When it comes to cleaning jewelry, I wouldn't have a clue. I agree with you on leaving that to the professionals.

Thanks Mani, cleaning must be considered bad unless by a pro, luckily I have a stone setter who will do, but only if very necessary !~

What a glorious butterfly bracelet! Those hues fairly explode when placed together, don't they? So vivid, and just as enchanting as a bracelet made of living butterflies would be. Wow.

Forgot to say Mani, that cleaning can be tricky doing by yourself, not a good idea to ever soak a piece but the piece must be totally dry after a clean which individuals can be lack on stringent details !~
