    I am trying to research this pitcher that looks very old. On one side it's marked made in ????? the other marking says WOOD. Any helpful information will be greatly appreciated .

      You didn't show the marks but it is possible this might be an H.J. Wood piece made in England. Also called H.J. Wood & Sons. The mark would be important in establishing a date because H.J. Wood was in business for over 200 years. The age doesn't mean more or less value but does come into play depending on how many of a given item was produced.

      Maybe Arthur Wood Horse Handle white pottery pitcher, but here's a brown one with the same bottom mark as yours were! :^)

      OK marked it solved were, as: Vintage Arthur Wood England Large Earthenware Jug/Pitcher Horse Head Handle 1904-1928
