Hi all! Love this piece! Wondering if anyone is familiar with the marking? I’ve searched several websites but so far unable to find any information on the mysterious marking.

    Cheers...Jan

Just a general observation; I believe this Chinese based on the clothes and hair of the figures, and the mark on the back. The head mark on the back shows a traditional Chinese headdress. I may be wrong.

lets start with the beginning , who is the dude in the mark , well i could be mistaken , but it looks like an guangfang which is a goverment official

what is the chinese meaning in the picture ( mark), it means something like overseen and made by the quartier of leisure

and now we come to the alleged conclusion because experts always date this 4 quartier 20 century by means of the mark , so i think the wrongly exclude late republic period

this is canton porcelain , so we have to assess this by means the generation of the canton porcelain

fortunately it coincides ( 4 th generation PROC - peoples republic of China - see watery glazing)

i think its made around the seventees

      best regards Waki
