Luckily it is still Wednesday here. The Classic Nomad is a classic based on a classic. Some Hot Wheels like the Peeping Bomb and Grass Hopper are a b it less classic.
This one is close to stock aside from the sun roof, hood scoops and side pipes. The side pipes even had mufflers which is pretty subdued. Also much more realistic. Most of their "Custom" cars have headers which probably weren't street legal even in Alaska in 1968.
Something like this would have been at the drag races on weekends. Weekdays going to school and listing to The Doors on an 8 track.
Beautiful wheels, cool color
Purple passion wagon?
My favorite Hot Wheels color!!
This is still a very popular model today! (Fortapache if you ever see a gold one and it's under $750, (You probably wouldn't be able to afford it) but if you can and if it's in good condition, then I would snatch it up. Gold ones are believed to be prototypes, as they haven't been found in an original blister pack.)
It appears to be a '56 Nomad since it has the wide full grill.
It's actually a '55 model
Fair enough....the front end threw me off.
The front bumper and headlights look odd to me for a '55.
OK.... a '55 it is.
Thank you very much buckethead. The way the grill is made is deceptive makes it look larger than it is.
Thank you
