    After just getting a very nice vintage fire extinguisher I got another. This one is a bit older as it is riveted on the back. Riveted extinguishers are pre 1942 according to CW. See photo #3 for the rivets. Anyway it is something to check out when looking for a vintage extinguisher.
    This one was made by Guardene with a patent date of 1924. That does not mean it was made in 1924 of course but it helps to narrow it down, to 1925-1941 in this case. A lot of history happened in that time. Also a good time for the vintage items we collect.
