    Hi everyone,
I used to think this was a vase or a candle holder but after reading a post from Sklo, containing this link,
    http://www.fairy-lamp.com/Fairylamp/ChristmasLightsGraham.pdf
from IMASapp, I wonder if it could a life light, something I'd never heard of before today. Another new thing I learned.
    Thank you.
I'm not sure if this is a life light, it has the right shape for one but is fairly thin glass.
    Couldn't heat crack it?

Pure speculation......but if it was too thick there wouldn't be much light escaping! I don't think we will ever know.

Hi Peggy. Good point. This barely lets light through as it is. I've often thought these, and many other vases I have, were odd shapes for displaying flowers. Perhaps they were for bulbs?
