my oldest NO PARKING sign

Of the (probably) dozen or so assorted NO PARKING signs in my collection, this one is now my absolute mostest-favorite. It is also without a doubt the oldest, as well as being one of the very first street/road signs I ever acquired many years ago, when I was a teenager just wanting 'cool stuff' to decorate my room with. ;-) :-) Frankly, I've had it long enough that I honestly don't remember exactly where/when I got it...it might have come from my Uncle's scrap metal pile (with a few other old signs) or it might have been a 'souvenir' kept after a friend played "kick-boxing" with a signpost in another friend's front yard, one late night way back then. (I know that *one* of my NO PARKING signs came via the kickboxing anyway...I just don't remember exactly which one...?? <groan><headdesk><lol>)

Anyways. This example likely dates from the 1940's or so, as it is made of heavy gauge steel, painted white (on both sides) with red on the embossed NO PARKING ANY TIME wording and border. It measures 12" w x 18"h.
