As a Vendor at an Antique Mall, I often sell Pottery and Porcelain Cats.
When I saw this one, I almost put it back as I didn't find it particularly
appealing. However, a combination of "gut feeling" and a price tag of $1.99
caused me to (quite haphazardly) toss it into my cart.
When I got home, I took three photos of the ugly cat, and did a
"Reverse Photo Search" (which I highly suggest, by the way).
What popped up shocked me--Not ONLY were MY photos almost
IDENTICAL to the photos found, BUT the photos on the NET were from
    Christie's Auction House in NYC!
Please feel free to compare MY Photos of MY Ugly Cat to the ones published
by CHRISTIE'S of THEIR ugly cat. You will find only a "slight difference" in a
paint drip on the interior of the Terra Cotta!
    AMAZING, huh? WOW!

The Christie's one is older, sold for 650$, under the low 800 estimation...

      Kyratango:
Sorry my spelling is bad! Bevant or Not to be Bevant. LOL!
My Cat is NO BROTHER, Friend. He is the he REAL THING.
I was aware of the Christies Auction, as well as the evaluation and
      final sale price.
Had I not been advised of its value earlier, I would not have posted
      it here.
My Cat (Spelling Error Aside) sold for $478.00 to the top bidder.
      Thank you Anyway.

I did not mean for that to sound "snarky"?
After I read my response, I cringed.
      Sorry.
