Hello again folks!!
Another of my Franz Bergman cold painted bronze collection. This one is a Bedouin calligrapher sitting on a beautiful rug. I believe this one is also from the 1900 period as well. I love how this one still has some of the original calligraphy remaining, as you'll see in pic #3. From his facial features, his fingers and toes to his colorful sash and the beautiful rug design, I am just amazed at the detail that was put into this Franz Bergman piece. This one measures approximately 3" tall, 5 7/8" long and 4" wide.

I actually bought this one, along with the Turkish man on the poultry crate, from the same dealer. It took some serious dealing to get the price down to my range. But, as you can see, they came thru for me.

It's unbelievable the detail is these Bergman pieces Scott. Thanks for teaching me about them. I would never have thought them cast iron from the photos.
