Graniteware pans in patterns like this are rather hard to find. So far this is the second I have run across. There are plenty of coffee pots and basins but cookware not so much.
Graniteware appeared about 1885. The big advantage was that it was light and easy to clean. By about 1920 this pattern was out of style and was replaced by solid colored enamelware and the grey graniteware. All are coated with porcelain which tends to break easily if dropped or struck. There should be some of that on any vintage enamelware/graniteware or there is a good chance it is brand new and made in China.
Next I need to use it to make a batch of beanie weenies.
Beautiful color & excellent item
Awesome piece! Where's the campfire?
