I'm not sure of the age of these yet but I like songs. I was surprised to find two different labels with the same song.
First one is a Columbia with the Ballad of Davy Crockett as originally preformed by Fess Parker. Other side is I Gave My Love also by Fess Parker.A little history is Fess Parker played Davy Crockett in Disney's show, I never missed an episode.
Another Columbia with Pecos Bill and Pretty Eyes, preformed by Dick Jurgens and his Orchestra.
The next two records a Capitol and Majestic have a Disney classic Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah. On the Capitol it's performed by Johnny Mercer and the Pied Pipers with Paul Weston Orchestra,Opposite song is Ev'rybody Has A Laughing Place. The Majestic is preformed by the George Olsen Trio with the George Olsen Orchestra, opposite is Through A Thousand Dreams with vocal by Ray Adams and the George Olsen Orchestra.
Great theme from Davy Crockett, Fess P was so memorable in that show as well as my fave "Danl" Boone. Nice Disney theme collection
So much Thanks TessieDevil, Caperkid, fortapache, SEAN68, vetraio50, jscott363, and Newfld.
