A patriotically colored 2x2" bow shaped brooch that has red, royal blue & white rhinestones and pearly red & blue enamel accents, on goldtone. By Napier (founded ca 1915) the black block letter mark dates pre-1980

Yep Scott and Ken, you got me, it's for Memorial Day, I don't like to bypass any holiday if I have something appropriate to post. Although I kind of think Memorial & Veterans Day are kind of sad holidays, many of the men in my family served during wartime, and it's good to honor them. Thanks for your kind comments

A lovely graceful, and colourful bow. England has the same red, white and blue - although when I see brooches like this I immediately think of the U.S.A. I see a pinky (not the finger) colour for the red stones.
This would be great for an Independence Day, or any Patriotic Celebration, Jenni! :^D Nice, nice, nice! :^)

Thank you Gillian for the kind compliments and sharp observation - you are right, the red stones and enamel appear pinkish because I photographed them under my living room lights, I almost always try to bring red rhinestones near to natural light so their true red comes out
