What is the caliber, or inside diameter of the bore?

I thought it was an Adam's at 1st but found it is an auction site as "Unmarked" while looking at Adam's revolvers. The "elg"is the Belgium proof mark. Bon chance !

Just curious, as to why is the cylinder is installed backwards? My best guess is a 9, or 12 mm pinfire, with, (as bb2 said), Belgium proof marks. They were used in the civil war, but in very small quantities, as ammo was hard to come by, or so i read. Andrew Jackson had a few in different calibers, according to google Forums.

It wouldn't be 1810 more like 1850 or later.

Correction:, I meant to say (General, Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson), as opposed to Andrew Jackson.

LOL Izenglish, I didn't even notice the cyl. was backwards. Yankee must have had it last.
