Can anyone give me an idea were this lens mount belongs to? It is a Vivitar 17mm 3.5 lens. Have looked on line and unable to find it.

If this is an early Vivitar lens, it could be the base for what the company called their "T" mount system (i.e. T, T-2, T-4, etc.). The concept was that a lens could be used on cameras such as Nikon, Pentax, Canon and others. This was done by purchasing a "T" adapter for the particular camera system. The last Vivitar I owned was back in the early '70s and unable to correctly identify which "T" mount this might be (assuming it is a T-mount).
