I got this really cute gold toned mesh bag at my local flea market yesterday. The lid has a design on it and when you open it expands. If it were only silver. That is all I know which is nothing....about this bag.

It's made by Whiting & Davis, I Think 1930's! It might be marked on the inside! :^D I posted one a few weeks ago. :^)
It's called a Gate Top Beggars Bag by Whiting & Davis, made in the 1920's-1930's. Here's one on ebay:
