Inherited duck decoy.....whitish paint work remains, so just a few species that showed that feather coloration.....any guess? A true mystery here....short beak.....not broken......some kind of Sea Duck......definitely an old used decoy. Lots of repairs......head appears to have been attached by a piece of metal that rusted away. Had a note that pointed out it was found on a high bank of dry driftwood somewhere along the Delmarva Peninsula.....that’s all I’ve got. Doesn’t have factory striation markings so it was hand made.
