Tips seem to be made of translucent stone. Tips are attached to brass ferrules which are glued to wooden handles with a tar like substance.
Anyone know what these are? |

Hey Woodsmoocher, welcome to CW! :^D They look like some sort of handheld antique instructional pointer, but the only one similar that I could find is an antique Torah pointer, but all of those have a little hand with a finger pointing. It's close, but not that. Good luck! I think someone will know though! :^)
These are agate burnishers. They are used by people working with gold leaf. Burnishing the leaf will produce a smooth high shine. Only agate will produce this effect.
