I have not been able to find anything on what this might be. It stands about 4' high with a wooden handle. It looks like a horseshoe shaped end at the bottom, with what appears to be a shaft that you can press down on with your foot. Right above that there are 2 cutters?? that are on an adjustable shaft. I thought it might be something to cut off rivets, but the cutters are positioned vertically. There is a Patent Date stamped "Pat..8.28.94" which I have checked the US Patent Office database and found 360 hits, but nothing lkke this.

    Any ideas>

I have seen another one identified as a "disc sharpener" by owner. It came from the Canadian border of Minn. Or wissconsin
