Any information on these is appreciated. They have no markings, but they must be before 1940, They come in a specialized red leather case.

Actually, I had a second look and it looks rather painted/enameled on the front:(

I looked again and it seems like its metal cut into shapes and enameled. But I'm not sure how they would have attached the metal pieces...
Beautiful! and having the period original case is great too!
Any chance to see back of the pieces ( to see how the decor is attached) and the case?
