The cockerel vase is perhaps a jug. I like the hole in the tail that reminds me of the "forato" Italian glass. It's majolica, a tin-glazed pottery that the French call faience. The pot is not marked except for the pencil marks shown. Those eyes!
I like to put some flowers in it that we call "Billy Buttons" in Australia but flowers of any type sit nicely on the cockerel's head like a 'comb'.
I would like some help with this one. I think it might be Italian of perhaps French. Any suggestions?
My first thought (before reading your comments) was Italian.
It's a cockerel surely, with it's cock's comb ??
