You may say that I "smelled a bargain" with this beautiful little display case. I discovered this at a local junk store. It once held Vail Brothers Of Philadelphia perfume. It appears to be circa 1910-1920s. I also got a bonus collection of mini glass sample perfume vials. They have names like Young's Crab Apple Blossom; Puritan Purple Violet; White Heliotrope; Carnation Pink White Rose; Jockey Club. One very small vial is "Woodworth's Violets Of Sicily For The Handkerchief (I believe this was made in 1910). I plan to collect and fill the display with Vail Brother's Perfume bottles.
What a pretty & stylish display case, lovely scroll work around edges. It's great you plan to fill & restore the perfume vials
"Puritan Purple Violet" perfume, huh. The mind boggles at what that could have been... <lolol>
Good luck vintagelamp, such a lovely start.
What a beautiful display case and sample.
