I found this Rhinestone Brooch in some of my things, I don't remember when I got it, but it could have been my mother's. It looks very well made, but it doesn't have any makers marks of any kind. Just interested to know the company that made it, because it's so nice looking! :^D
The photos that I took on the blue print velvet, made the stones look red, and metal gold, so I took some on the cream colored material, and the colors are more true!
The Brooch is 2 5/8" x 1 1/2"

Thanks Jenni, the shape is what I first noticed, because it was tarnished and dirty, when I found it. I could hardly see the stones, that look like a dark Amethyst on the petals, and lower ribbon, and lighter Lavender in the flower center, and upper ribbon, and all the stones are set, not glued. You're correct about the marcasite look, they're just bumps in the metal, not faceted! :^D
Thank you Eileen, I know that my chances are slim, but wanted to show because it is such a nice looking Brooch, and there's a lot of people here that know their Jewelry, so I can hope! :^D It really seems to be well made, and why I was surprised that there was no makers mark! I'm not sure if it was my mothers, but my oldest sister might remember it, but she'll wear it if I give it to her, for her 70th Birthday next week, it will be special to her, I'm sure! :^D
