Bought these a couple months ago and am just now getting around to posting them. Finally finished my loose Snow White and Seven Dwarves set. I have a boxed set that is complete but they are glued to the base but I had no loose Snow White or Doc. Doc is important as he is the head dwarf.
As for how long they were made I think it was up until 1969. Marx was sold to Quaker Oats in 1972 but not much was happening after 1968. The Disneykins and the other small hand painted figures were made in Hong Kong unlike the playsets and 12" figures which were made in the US and Canada along with under license in Europe.
The witch and the other Snow White in photo #4 are from the Disney Park Series from the 200s aka now. The witch was a good figure to add. I wonder if they make the Evil Queen or the Prince.
Cute collection.
Love all of 'em fort, Doc is so cute - I'm looking at your seven dwarves & trying to remember all the names - Doc, Dopey, Sleepy, Grumpy...maybe Happy.....that's all I've got lol!
Snow White is bigger than the other princesses I see. Was that because of where she was made?
Thank you very much Mrstyndall.
Thank you very much Newfld. An easier way to remember them is to divide them into two groups. Doc, Dopey and Grumpy are the main dwarves. Sleepy, Sneezy, Bashful and Happy being the other 4.
Thank you very much racer4four. This Snow White was made by Marx in the 1960s. The others are part of the current Disney Park series, not sure who makes them.
Thank you

Thanks fort for finishing the seven for me. I saw Snow White again a few yrs ago (those full length cartoons can still enthrall adults), and remember my favorites were shy Bashful, and chronic complainer Grumpy. These miniatures are so nice to have, great set
Thank you very much again Newfld. My pleasure. Been a bit since I have seen it. Will get it when Disney Movie Club has it again.
Thank you Caperkid.
