A small Vaseline Glass bowl of some sort just as it says in the title. It is 4" from corner to corner and 1 1/2" tall. Makers of Vseline glass have found a need for small bowls such as this. My guess is that this one is for trinkets or jewelry.
The color on this one seems to be a bit brighter than the older pieces under normal light. But then again not as bright as other new pieces which almost glow in the light. There is no maker's mark that I can see.
I will not mention that Vaseline glass is yellow as that gets me in trouble.
Beautiful bowl & fabulous collection, that this glass glows in the dark amazes me
The color and glow are neat. Reminds me of cobalt glass under a ultraviolet light. I'm not familiar with vaseline glass, you come up with things I've never seen all the time 'Apache.
How much of that stuff do you need before your house turns radioactive?
Thank you very much Newfld. It does glow and the amazing thing is when it first came about around 1885 their were no UV lights.
Thank you very much Toyrebel. Vaseline glass is a sub set of Uranium glass and is named after Vaseline which has a similar color.
Thank you very much keramikos. Oh my did I write that out loud?
Thank you very much elanski. I could probably run a small sub for a couple years.
It's an awesome yellow.
Thank you very much racer4four.
