AN OLD ANTIQUE DIAMOND RING,,,FOUND IT WHEN I WAS CLEANING OUT MY CUPBOARDS,,,HAS LOADS OF DIAMONDS,,,VERY UGLY RING ,,,AND MADE WITHOUT ANY HALLMARKS,,,HAS STRAP SUPPORTING THE LARGE DIAMOND,,,I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TYPE OF METAL IT IS MADE FROM LOOKS LIKE PLATINUM BECAUSE IT'S NOT TESTING FOR GOLD OR SILVER,,,,I WONDER HOW OLD DO YOU THINK THIS STRANGE LOOKING RING IS?

I think this antique ring may be older than Victorian, possibly Georgian. It's settings seem to be typical of the Georgian era. In order to obtain an accurate assessment please ensure you take it to an expert in antique jewelry. It's a beautiful ring and could be valuable. Great find!
