This is another vase-to-lamp-to-vase again conversion, but it's worth the effort - 13" height, gorgeous silver blue pulled threads on a field of rich brown iridescent glass. The tall, slender jugendstil form gives the early Phänomen decoration lots of "running room".

Nice! Honestly, the vases drilled for lamps display just as beautifully! I don't think it should be a concern unless you are seeking to build a museum-quality collection.
We can still enjoy the craftsmanship, colors and form.

Museum quality is a misnomer, as they have many broken, chipped, repaired, restored pieces in their collections.

Warren you've been a busy boy!! Always amazed what turns up in a DIY lamp.

Brian, you should have seen what was inside it, and how tricky it was to remove it. :)
