Hello truth friends Collectors Community,-2-08-2018----12 AM-Ontario, Canada.
I found this little cabinet vase few week ago at my local SA, this vase it's compose with 3 layer of glass, inner white ground, Colored spatter with Mica inclusion, finish with a clear coat.
I have some suspicion this could be a Welz production from the Art deco era.
This little vase is 3.50 inches tall, 2.25 inches at the widest portion, a 1 inches base with a 1 inches rim.
Many thanks for looking.
Could be late Victorian rather than Art Deco...the mica spangles were a popular addition to the glass of that era, not quite so much used in later times...anyway, a pretty vase & a great find!
I love these, in every color of the rainbow. I think everybody made this same type or stuff late 18th early 19 century. Harrach, Welz or Moser are my guesses.
a wee sparkle of pure magic !!!!!!!!
