RAREST VTG Allyn P-51 Ashtray - 4th Fighter Group Reunion Model

At one time the Allyn North American P-51 CHROME Ashtray Model was one of the most popular items to be found at any full-scale aviation facility including military officer's clubs, FBOs and airport lounges. By special request, Allyn made small runs of PAINTED P-51 assemblies so that they would be easier to custom finish for WW2 Fighter Group Association gatherings. This particular one is one of those rare factory painted models that had been finished for one of the most famous P-51 groups, the 4th FG based in the UK during WW2. This is a reunion model that features the famous red nose of the 4th. It also features the original cockpit insert and canopy. It it has its original paint, markings as well as the rare black glass insert. It may very well be the rarest Allyn P-51 in existence. Enjoy!!
