A natty pot? Old medicine! I have never seeing one like this before. I have a white ceramic one made in China. It should be used with warm water and a ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt. It has to be kosher salt, otherwise it burns your nostrils. For many people it cuts down on sinus infections. It helps a lot, especially if you work in a dusty environment.
Thanks. I was uninformed. Thats good information. I work in a wood shop, loads of dust. Fortunately, I have not had sinus infections, just large sawdust snot in the shower. Please explain natty pot.
The natty pot seems to be old medicine. People have been using the natty pot it seems, for centuries. In our time, doctors prescribe saline solutions to flash your sinus but the natty pot does the same thing and is much more sanitary because you can sterilize it. While you can never really sterilize the plastic bottles of saline solutions bought in pharmacies. I believe that some people re-infect themselves when they use the saline solutions. I am a sculptor. I carve stone and wood which causes a lot of dust. The natty pot is a lifesaver!
