I saw the Bird Brooch that Mrstyndall posted, and wanted to post my recent Flea Market find, it's a vintage 1950's Florenza Goofy Bird on a branch Brooch, with set blue, and clear crystals, in it's feathers, and turquoise enameled beak and eyes. The large Brooch is 3 3/4" long, and 1 1/2" wide, and a beauty! :^D The gold colored metal Brooch, is marked on the back just under the hinge side of the pin Florenza, and a copyright mark.
I also wanted to show a few other recent finds, two mesh bags, the gold is Whiting & Davis, and the Silver is unmarked. A Gold metal Compact marked Volupte' USA. An antique Cast Iron Bradley & Hubbard West Meriden, Conn. Parrot in a ring perch top, to a cast iron base door stop, that I don't have, :^( love the look though, :^D and three more Brooches, a Modernist sterling made in Mexico, an unmarked enameled Flower, and an unmarked small silver Grooms Flower Lapel pin. I took the photographs of these together, before I saw Mrstyndall's Bird Brooch post, so what you see is what you get! :^D
Here's a link to a Ruby Lane post of the Florenza Brooch:
