The tram photo is at Saltley gate . I lived about a mile away in sladefield rd in ward end and was born there in 1947. The postcard is dated 1949. I remember the tram tracks been there for some years after the trams were discontinued. I used to pass this corner on the bus into the city centre. It’s at the junction of the alum rock road and the wash wood heath road at Saltley. Traffic lights were put there in the 1950s . I left sladefield road in 1964 to go to a bigger house in castle Bromwich with parents.
